Every minute of every day, someone needs blood. That blood can only come from a volunteer donor, a person like you, who makes the choice to donate. There is no alternative for your donation.
When you donate blood, you join a select group. Currently, only 3 out of every 100 people in the US donate blood; a number that we can increase, with your help. We are privileged to live in an area where sophisticated medical facilities are available; however, these programs require many blood donations.
A donor at USC is a special kind of volunteer. By committing just a few hours of your time, you can give a gift more precious than time or money: the gift of life through blood.
